Andie Hill is a St Albans based designer and artist with a passion for nature and ecology. Although better known more recently for her textile designs, she has continued to work as an artist throughout. As a long-standing beekeeper she talks and mentors new beekeepers, the emphasis always on sustainability, something that is often reflected in her art work. Now working as a gardener on the private estate where her bees are kept, she's working together with the other horticulturists creating planting schemes and habitats for insects and wildlife. The subjects for these botanical prints are gathered from within these gardens.
