t will come as not surprise to anyone that I have finally chosen to include in my collection a design with bees on it. These tiny amber bees started life as an image of one of my own.
Clusters of amber honeybees travel across a mosaic comb of tiny bronze, brass and gold hexagons. In turn, this elemental hive is edged with a band of tarnished copper. Hidden inside each tiny bee, their fossilised genetic blue print.
This sumptuous scarf, in rich metal tones, is printed on silk chiffon. Its’ generous proportions, together with its’ soft drape, mean it can be worn as a luxurious evening shawl or scrunch to add a splash of colour to everyday outfits, all finished with a hand rolled hem.
