Silk Pulp Sci Fi Scarf
This beautifully vibrant, art, scarf, in hues of orange and purple, or blue and purple, is printed on soft 12mm silk satin.
Approximately 192 cm x 64 cm and finished with a hand rolled hem.
It's soft drape and ample size, makes it ideal for amagnificent evening shawl, but can just as easily be crunched for everyday use.
These designs are inspired by the Pulp Sci fi Magazines of the 1930s an 1940s.
These fantastical, images were originally painted for a publication called, “Amazing Stories” and I couldn’t resist incorporating them into a scarf.
Printing onto 12mm satin silk helps retain the images’ vibrancy and offers an almost double sided effect. Like my other scarves, the generous dimensions of 190cm x 62cm, means that they can be worn either as a shawl, or scrunched to bring a splash of colour to an everyday outfit.
